5000 Rep Kettlebell Snatch Challenge; 4400 To Go!

On Thursday afternoon, I went outside and snatched my 16 kilo kettlebell for 200 more reps towards my 5000 rep total.  I even filmed it, or at least tried to before the batteries died.  Check out my first attempt at on-line video.  I wound up doing about 25 snatches before the camera batteries died.  Once I looked at the video, I saw that my right elbow is bent on the lockout portion of the snatch on almost every rep.  My left side was fine though. 

So rather than embarass myself with a video of me displaying crappy form, here’s a video of the wrap-up once I was done (and had put new batteries in!):

 

After snatches, I did five Turkish get-ups, alternating right and left, and the pushed 3 sets of 5 reps of the kettlebell floor press, using my 24 kg kettlebell for both exercises.  I finished with 20 Janda sit-ups. 

I had to run and get ready for work, make dinner, etc., so I apologize for this entry being a day late.
