Did a test workout for the December Kettlebell Challenge (http://tinyurl.com/5fwhyl).
I used my 20 kg kettlebell and got 170 snatches and 50 long cycle clean and jerks.
As you can see, I need some work with the Long Cycle Clean and Jerk (LCCJ). To raise my numbers, I’m going to alternate WKC Kettlebell Fitness workouts with a Snatch-focused day and a LCCJ-focused day. The half snatches I’ve been doing, plus the 5000 snatches I did earlier this year have helped keep my numbers up. However moving my workouts from twice a week to three times a week will help my endurance and will assist me with transitioning to the 24 kilo kettlebell.
I haven’t been doing jerks or long cycle for some time, so I’m going to have to re-learn the movement as I go.
