Fast Fives – Turkish Get-Ups For The Time-Strapped

Had a late day today, with open house at one of my boy’s middle school and decided to do my TGU workout when I got home.

At 9:00 p.m.

Which is damn close to my bed time.

At any rate, it was just me tonight. I did the now-standard wall squats/halos (16 kg kettlebell)/pumps for 10 minutes, and finished with 5 total circuits.

I rested for about 3 minutes and got to work on my TGUs for 5 minutes with a pair of my 24 kg kettlebells.  I worked somewhat quickly, dodging mosquitoes, until I finished with 5 reps on each side.

I then flipped my kettlebells over, got 25 Janda sit-ups and then got 150 reps with my jump rope before escaping inside to do some stretching.

Total time: About 25 minutes (your times may vary).

At the heart of this workout is 10 minutes of warm-ups followed by 5 minutes of TGUs.

That’s only 15 minutes.

C’mon, you don’t even have 15 minutes????

Invest a little time in your health!!!
