New Kettlebell Swing PR

I’m continuing my get-up workouts and elbow “rehab”.

Rope skipping – 250 reps – no misses.

10 minutes or wall squats/halos/pumps

16 kg Turkish get-ups. No time limit, 10 each side, alternating and no rest between sides.

16 kg swings – 2 handed

I decided to try my theory about the 15 second shorter breaks and set my Gymboss for 10:00.

100 reps, rest 45 sec,

100 reps, rest 45 sec,

100 reps, 11 seconds to spare.

300 reps total and new PR.

Finished with 20 lying leg raises, joint mobility, arm bars with the 16 kg and elbow work as discussed previously.  Laying off the heavier kettlebell has helped a lot with my elbow pain.

I got my new Punch Kettlebell last week.  I’ll have a side-by-side comparison coming up later this week.

The HKC countdown has begun!
