Rite of Passage – Week 1 Complete: ETK

Friday was an “off” day, and Saturday was listed as a “Heavy” day. “Heavy” means a hard effort swing day.

Our clean and press ladders went easily enough and we both decided on two-hand swings for our max effort.

Val stayed with her 12 KG and I used the 24KG.

We managed to get 3 sets of 50 reps in 4 minutes, and I’m glad I went with the two-hand, as we were both pretty beat up from the heat and painting we’d been doing.

I finished with some janda sit-ups and some straight-leg sit-ups, followed by some stretching to relax the lower back and hamstrings.

No workout today.

On Monday we’ll add a rung to our ladder.
