I moved up to level 11 with my 16 kg kettlebell, still practicing my jerk, snatch and long cycle. For level 11, I’m doing sets of 2minutes with rest periods reduced to 1 minute.
I’ve been using the World Kettlebell Club’s Kettlebell Fitness manual (pre-release version) to help me train for my attempt at making rank. It provides a steady growth in reps and time and does so in a fashion that almost guarantees success…if you’re willing to put in the work. It’s not easy, but it’s not impossible either.
Second time through Level 10. Sweating like a pig but feels good. Next stop, level 11.
Finished level 10 yesterday with the 16 kg. Going to do it again tomorrow then on to level 11.
