Monday 04/13/09

Double Military Press – 28 kg X 5 (rest pause style); 24 kg X 6; 24 kg X 4 (10 sets, 1 minute rest between sets)

Double Bent Row – 32 kg X 5 (rest pause style); 28 kg X 6; 28 kg X 4 (10 sets, 1 minute rest between sets)

Double Front Squat – 24 kg X 8 (rest pause style); 20 kg X 8; 20 kg X 6 X 4 (sudden pain in right knee, stopped set)

Floor Press – 32 kg X 4; 28 kg X 6; 24 kg X 8; 20 kg X 8

Power Wheel work;

25 Janda sit-ups

Stretch/joint mobility work

I have come to the conclusion that my knees are too messed up for me to be doing weighted squats of any kind anymore.  I’ve had 2 surgeries on my left knee, and my right knee continues to have tracking issues and so forth.  It’s not worth it to me to continue this abuse, so I will stick to Hindu squats from now on.  I have no desire to lose my job over bad knees at this stage in my life and Hindus cause no issues whatsoever.

Seated Press – 24 kg X 5; 24 kg X 5 (10 sets, 1 minute rest between sets)

Renegade Row – 32 kg X 5 (rest pause style); 28 kg X 5; 24 kg X 3 (20 sets, 1 minute rest between sets)

Double Snatch – 28 kg X 5 (rest pause style); 24 kg X 6; 24 kg X 4 (10 sets, 1 minute rest between sets)

TGU – 24 kg 5R/5L
